All 30 teams are involved in the big tournaments tonight. With all of the options available, who is most likely to get you value for your money in FanDuel? We will take a look at who has fared best against tonightās pitchers, and who stands a good chance to do it again.

NOTE: these picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. The highest scorer of the day could be someone with no experience against his opponent. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.
Here are my FanDuel hitter picks for August 4:
Next: First Up: The Corner Infielders
Jul 21, 2015; Oakland, CA, USA; Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Edwin Encarnacion (10) rounds the bases after he hit a solo home run during the first inning against Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Kendall Graveman (31), not in picture, at O.co Coliseum. First Base:
Best Bet:
Edwin Encarnacion,Ā Blue Jays ($4,500):Ā Edwin has destroyed Phil Hughes in his career. Encarnacion is 14 for 40 (.350) with four walks, four doubles, a home run, and six RBI off of Hughes. If you have the money, Encarnacion looks like a sure thing.
Honorable Mention:
Lucas Duda,Ā Mets ($4,200):Ā Duda is 5 for 14 (.357) with a walk, two doubles, a home run, and four RBI off of Brad Hand. He is about the only Met that has had success against Hand so far, but that could change with the revamped lineup.
Third Base:
Best Bet:
Adrian Beltre,Ā Rangers ($3,300):Ā Beltre is 6 for 17 (.353) in his career off of Houston starter Dan Straily. Mike Fiers was supposed to start, but the Astros used him in relief in the wild game on Monday night. Beltre only has one double and two RBI as counting stats off of Straily, but getting on base will net you positive points at the very least.
Honorable Mention:
Conor Gillaspie,Ā Angels ($2,200):Ā Gillaspie will have free reign so long as David Freese is on the DL. He has done pretty well off of Carlos Carrasco in his career. Gillaspie is 3 for 11 (.273) with a walk, a double, and three RBI off of the Indians ace. He could be a nice source of cheap points tonight.
Next: Up Next: Middle Infield
Jun 30, 2015; Miami, FL, USA; Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon before a game against the San Francisco Giants at Marlins Park. Mandatory Credit: Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports
Second Base:
Best Bet:
Dee Gordon,Ā Marlins ($3,200):Ā Gordon is 4 for 7 with a triple and a RBI off of Mets starter Jon Niese. Second Basemen have had very little success against their opponents tonight. You can do worse than a speedster that gets on base more than half the time.
Honorable Mention:
Ryan Goins,Ā Blue Jays ($2,400):Ā Goins has only faced Phil Hughes six times, but he has come away with three singles. Now that he is getting consistent at bats in baseballās best lineup with Devon Travis on the DL, Goins is a great bet for points. The fact that he has six hits in his last six games doesnāt hurt either.
Shortstop:
Best Bet:
Marwin Gonzalez,Ā Astros ($2,500):Ā Gonzalez is 4 for 13 (.308) with a double, a home run, and four RBI off of Yovani Gallardo in his career. His versatility has allowed the Astros to keep him in the lineup at several different positions. Look for Marwin to be in there in some capacity tonight.
Honorable Mention:
Asdrubal Cabrera,Ā Rays ($3,000):Ā Cabrera is 9 for 35 (.257) with two walks, four doubles, two home runs, and nine RBI off of White Sox ace Chris Sale in his career. The lower average makes him better suited for DraftKings, but his propensity for extra base hits off of Sale makes him a strong bet in FanDuel as well.
Next: Last But Not Least: The Outfield
Jul 17, 2015; Chicago, IL, USA; Kansas City Royals right fielder Alex Rios (right) is greeted by his teammates after hitting a home run against the Chicago White Sox during the sixth inning at U.S Cellular Field. Mandatory Credit: David Banks-USA TODAY Sports
Catcher:
Best Bet:
Salvador Perez,Ā Royals ($2,200):Ā Perez has smoked Justin Verlander in his career so far. Perez is 15 for 35 (.429) with seven doubles, a home run, and a whopping ten RBI off of the former MVP. You canāt afford to not take Perez at this price with his numbers off of Verlander.
Honorable Mention:
Jason Castro,Ā Astros ($2,600):Ā Castro has hit Yovani Gallardo hard in his career. He is 7 for 18 (.389) with three walks, two doubles, and a solo home run off of Gallardo. If you want to break away from the herd, Castro is a strong option.
Outfield:
Best Bets:
Jose Bautista,Ā Blue Jays ($4,900):Ā Bautista is 8 for 26 (.308) with three walks, two doubles, a home run, and three RBI off of Phil Hughes. Judging by how well the rest of his teammates have hit Hughes as well, Bautista should have plenty more RBI opportunities tonight.
Alex Rios,Ā Royals ($2,200):Ā Rios has done very well against Justin Verlander in his career. Rios is 16 for 43 (.372) with four walks, three doubles, two triples, and six RBI off of Verlander. He has never taken him deep, but he is on base an awful lot. That makes him a great value play in FanDuel.
Marlon Byrd,Ā Reds ($3,000):Ā Byrd is 10 for 32 (.313) in his career off of veteran John Lackey with a walk, two doubles, two homers, and eight RBI. He is a strong bet for counting stats tonight.
Colby Rasmus,Ā Astros ($2,600):Ā Rasmus is 7 for 21 with six walks, two doubles, two homers, and four RBI in his career off of Yovani Gallardo. Those numbers should have him in the lineup tonight.
Honorable Mention:
Lorenzo Cain,Ā Royals ($3,900):Ā Cain also seems to have figured out Verlander. He is 7 for 20 (.350) with a double, a home run, and two RBI off of Verlander. When he is on base that much, he is also a threat to swipe some points on the basepaths.
Nori Aoki,Ā Giants ($2,500):Ā Aoki is 8 for 21 (.381) with a walk and a solo home run off of Shelby Miller. Still, he can also get you some extra points when he is on base that often due to his speed.
Jayson Werth,Ā Nationals ($2,500):Ā Werth is 2 for 5 with a walk and a three run home run off of Patrick Corbin in his career. Werth is a good play in DraftKings as well due to his cheap power potential.
