Reds’ Billy Hamilton makes awesome over-the-shoulder catch (Video)

Billy Hamilton of the Reds really went all out to make sure he got the out on this one Tuesday night against the Cardinals
The Cincinnati Reds are taking on the St. Louis Cardinals Tuesday night, and in the eighth inning, the Reds were clinging to a 3-2 lead. With Jason Heyward at the plate, it appeared that the Cardinals were ready to get something going, but Billy Hamilton had other ideas.
Heyward was able to get a nice hold of the ball, and at first glance, it seemed like he was in for a nice extra base hit. Well, Hamilton was not going to let that happen.
Just laying out with everything he had on this one, Hamilton was able to pull the ball in and make sure that Heyward would be taking a seat on the bench, not making his way around the base paths.
Now that was just all effort right there. Again, right off the bat it looked like that was heading right for the wall and Heyward was in for at least a double. Instead, Hamilton was able to keep his team’s hopes alive with the snag of the night in Major League Baseball.
Incredible effort by one of the best center fielders out there.
