You mean there’s GoPro footage of St. Louis Rams training camp, straight from the POV of Todd Gurley? Just put it on a loop, please and thank you.

Apparently, as a part of his 21st birthday present, the Rams let TGIII wear the GoPro camera during practice. The footage is equal parts trash talk and football workouts, and is all the way live.

St. Louis fans have to be giddy as can be watching Gurley work the drills. He seems in great spirits and the football moves appear sound, as well. The cuts were crisp, and it looked like he was able to explode once his hips were straight. Probably the best part of the video is that Gurley obviously wants to get out, take hits and play live ball, but the team is making sure he takes his time with the rehab. Good drive; good patience.

The Rams selected Gurley with the tenth pick in this year’s NFL Draft. It’s not like the pick was too much of a reach, though it was by no means a sure thing. When healthy, Gurley has game-changing skills, and he possesses the greatest upside of any player from the 2015 draft class.

On the flip side, St. Louis chose a running back coming off an ACL tear with its top-10 pick. The last time they used such a high pick on a player coming off an injury was Sam Bradford in 2010 at No. 1 overall. When healthy he was serviceable, though his stint with the Rams will likely be remembered as a lemon. Rolling the dice again, on a skill position that has been devalued over the past five-or-so years, is enough to call the Gurley selection a gamble.

Nonetheless, as far as TGIII is concerned, things appear to be progressing on the right track. The real question is: Did Gurley wear the GoPro when out at the bars for his first rounds as a legal? If so, we need that footage.
