The fishermen from Deadliest Catch were just as surprised as anyone that the Seattle Seahawks threw in the Super Bowl’s final play.

Seattle Seahawks fans are still trying to comprehend head coach Pete Carroll’s decision to throw on the final play of the Super Bowl, instead of handing it off to bruising running back Marshawn Lynch. It is a bit delayed, but we’re finally seeing how the cast of Deadliest Catch handled the Super Bowl.

In a video that shows the fisherman huddled around listening to the broadcast, the men try to comprehend Carroll’s decision to pass.

If there is one silver lining to this, it is that the cast didn’t have to watch the play. So at least they were saved that hassle, which likely would have made the whole experience the more painful for them.

Though I imagine the confusion behind the play is more daunting when you couldn’t actually see it.

If there is anything they can rest assured on, it is the fact that no one has managed to comprehend the decision yet, even though Carroll is still stubborn about his decision to call that play.
