Fantasy football 2015: Top 5 QB sleepers
While quarterback doesn’t hold quite as much value in fantasy football as it does in the NFL, getting the right player under center can make or break your team on a week to week basis. If you miss out on the elite options that go early, don’t worry–there is still hope for your team if you can find the right fit in the middle rounds and grab a player on the verge of a breakout.

To properly evaluate quarterbacks, you have to understand the rules of your league. Standard scoring leagues start a single QB and award four fantasy points for passing touchdowns and six points for rushing touchdowns. If your league deviates from this norm with a dual-QB lineup or equal passing/rushing touchdown scoring, it radically affects your QB strategy.
As a general rule, fantasy owners avoid taking QB’s early since the difference between the top QB and one you can get in the middle rounds is less than the difference between a wide receiver or running back taken in the same rounds. If you decide to wait, getting the right QB’s in the mid or late rounds is a key to making this strategy work. While the top ten are fairly well-known and locked in, there are some interesting QB sleepers who are usually ranked and taken outside the top ten who I think have a chance for a breakout season.
One option for owners to consider as they put together their rosters is to grab a few players outside the top ten drafted and work them into a rotation based on matchup and current form.
