Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is starting to really show how long he’s been in the league with some of his remarks

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has been in the NFL for 10 years now, even though it might not actually seem like it’s been all that long. Still, the reality is that Cutler has been around for quite a while, having stints with both the Bears and the Denver Broncos.

At 32 years old, though, Cutler really isn’t all that old of a human being. Yes, he’s pretty old in terms of NFL years, but at 32, he’s still a young lad. Although, some recent comments he made might make you really think otherwise.

In a recent interview with ESPN about being one of the veterans on this Bears team, Cutler made some of the best “Get off my lawn” statements that you could possibly imagine.

"“It’s tough. It is tough,” Cutler said with a smile. “I think kids have changed a lot since whenever I came in in 2006. It’s a different animal. These kids with their phones. All the social media, everything they do. They were telling me that they play video games now and they have another screen where people watch them play video games. It’s like, I don’t understand that. They just watch you play the video game. They’re like, ‘Yeah, it’s awesome.’ I don’t know anything about this.”"

Jeez, you’d swear that Cutler was 70 with some of the ways he’s talking here. Come on, man, everyone at 32 these days knows about all of this stuff.

But, then again, Cutler is a family man so maybe he actually doesn’t pay attention to what the young guys are up to these days. He might actually be oblivious to everything he mentioned above.

Remember, this is a league where a quarterback much younger than him, Andrew Luck, still uses a flip phone. So, this really isn’t all that far-fetched.
