Floyd Mayweather took a shot at Ronda Rousey on Thursday and the notion that he should walk into a fight with her

Lately, a lot of people are questioning whether or not Floyd Mayweather could survive in a fight with Ronda Rousey. The man who’s never lost a boxing match in his professional career has been bombarded with questions about whether or not he can survive against the woman who can’t seem to let opponents last even a minute in the octagon.

On Thursday, while he was promoting his upcoming fight with Andre Berto on September 12, Mayweather was once again asked if he would consider fighting Rousey. In his response, he took a jab at Rousey and the money that MMA fighters make.

“I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes. When she can do that, then call me.” Mayweather said, via MMAFighting.com.

Does Floyd have a point here? In a way, yes he does. He does make a ridiculous amount of money every time that he walks into the ring and dances around for 12 rounds. But that’s also kind of the thing: Floyd dances around the ring against a mediocre opponent for 12 rounds and then walks away to start counting the cash flow. People want to see someone go against him that they think can actually stop him. As insane as the thought might be, there are people who believe that Rousey can actually be the one to stop Floyd.

To be quite honest, it’s actually getting a little out of hand that people keep asking this question about something that will obviously never happen. Not to mention, if Floyd were to tag her one time, she’d probably be down (Sorry, Rousey peeps. But he jabs her straight once, it’d be over.)

The real message in these comments here is that Mayweather absolutely doesn’t care about the quality of his opponents or his fights anymore. If that wasn’t evident recently by him choosing an opponent that’s lost three of his last six fights, this little money comment sealed the deal.
