In recent years, the NBA 2K series has outpaced any sort of competition in the basketball video game world to establish itself as the dominant #brand. Each and every year, the game becomes more and more realistic, as advances in technology allow for unbelievable graphics.

This year looks to be no exception, as the first gameplay footage from the new game got released earlier this morning. It features Steph Curry, of course, going through his free throw routine. From the shoes, to Curry’s face, to even his mouthguard, the game looks just ridiculous.

I mean, it’s so detailed you can even clearly make out where it says “I can do all things…” on the bottom of his shoes. Like, it used to be awesome that you could tell what #brand the shoes were on video games. Now they’re adding in the personal messages guys write on their shoes in sharpie. What a time to be alive.

Here you can watch the full video clip of Curry’s free throw routine.

We’ll have to wait and see how the game plays, but one thing is for sure: it looks incredible.
