Stephen A. Smith really let his feelings on Jay Cutler be known Friday on First Take
Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler is one of the most criticized people not only in the NFL, but really in all of sports. Very few times will you hear someone say anything positive about the Bears signal caller. However, most times this pertains to his play on the field, not so much him as a person.
Well, leave it up to Stephen A. Smith to change all of that.
During the episode of First Take on Friday, the subject of Cutler was brought up along with some recent comments made by his former receiver, Brandon Marshall, now with the New York Jets. In that interview Marshall revealed that he hasn’t heard from his buddy all that much since he left, which might actually raise some questions about what kind of person Cutler is.
Smith has his take on this and it was not pretty at all. Stephen A. called Cutler one of the worst people to every play the quarterback position in the league, among other things. No, not the worst player to ever be a quarterback, but the worst person.
He really tore into Cutler here on Friday.
Those were some strong opinions of Cutler as a human being, not just as a football player. Again, most of the talk around Cutler is about his sub-par play on the field, but this is definitely a new one.
