7. Miami Dolphins

Miami has not made the playoffs since 2008 when Tony Sparano was the head coach and Chad Pennington was slinging the pigskin all over creation (or something like that). Since then, the Dolphins have come close over the past two seasons, but failed to close the deal in Miami. With that in mind, general manager Dennis Hickey decided to land the big fish of free agency.

Hickey was able to sign defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to a six-year deal this offseason, giving the Dolphins a major star to build around. Suh will be the main cog of which the defense, paired up with defensive ends Olivier Vernon and Cameron Wake. Against teams with mediocre offensive lines, the Dolphins should be able to feast.

Cornerback Brent Grimes is also one of the most underrated players in the game today. Grimes is small in stature but has proven he can stick with anybody in the league. With Grimes in the secondary, Miami can shut down one half of the field, while safeties Reshad Jones and Louis Delmas roam over the top. The Dolphins should be brutal to deal with.
