No player before or since, save maybe for Nick Young, has had the supreme confidence in himself that Michael Jordan possessed. It’s a big part of the reason he became the best basketball players of all time.

Now, LeBron James has come for his throne. And while the debates about LeBron’s place in history will continue for eternity, there is no denying that he has already put himself at least right next to Jordan on the all time list. Which, of course, brings up the question of who would win in a game of one-on-one.

Right now LeBron would destroy Jordan, but that’s not really fair because Jordan is 52 years old. So the question then turns to include the caveat that given both players are in their primes, who would win a game of one-on-one. Well everyone has their answer, including Jordan.

And I’m guessing you knew that answer before you even read the headline. Yep, current Michael Jordan thinks prime Michael Jordan could beat LeBron in one-on-one.

Shoutout to MJ for actually answering the question and not dodging it.

Also at another point in the Q & A, Jordan proclaimed the all-time Bulls would kill the all-time Lakers. Michael Jordan will never stop going in.
