FanDuel Picks For August 11

More from DFS

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

NOTE: these FanDuel picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel picks for August 11:

Next: FanDuel Pitcher Options

Jul 31, 2015; Minneapolis, MN, USA; Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Taijuan Walker (32) pitches in the first inning against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field. Mandatory Credit: Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Pitcher Options:

Taijuan Walker, Mariners ($6,900): Walker is pitching pretty good, despite some minor inconsistency. His numbers have bounced up and down a little bit lately, but by and large even his lower numbers have been a pretty decent bargain for his price. His last three games fantasy points have been: 9.33, 23, and 9. I am expecting him to be pretty solid at home against the Orioles.

Steven Wright, Red Sox (6,400): Steven Wright is on a pretty hot streak right now. His past two games he has scored 20 and 17 fantasy points. For this price he is a pretty safe gamble.

Next: FanDuel Infield Hitter Options

  • Kendrys Morales, Royals ($3,300): Morales has been swinging a very hot bat lately and he faces a fairly familiar foe on the mound on the 10th. Those things put together make him a fairly safe gamble. He has a career mark of 5/15 with an RBI against Anibal Sanchez. Factor in a home run and 13 RBI over his last 14 at-bats and that puts him in the safe gamble column for me.

Robinson Cano, Mariners ($3,800): Cano has been playing pretty good lately despite a somewhat streaky season. He faces off with Chris Tillman who he owns a 12/29 mark against with three home runs and eight RBI. I like his prospects for the game on the 10th.

    Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options

Jul 29, 2015; St. Louis, MO, USA; St. Louis Cardinals right fielder Jason Heyward (22) runs to first after a base hit against the Cincinnati Reds at Busch Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

    Outfield Hitter Options:

Jason Heyward, Cardinals ($3,500): Heyward is as hot as any outfielder in the game right now. He has racked up several multi-hit games and has been active on the base paths as well. At $3,500 he is a pretty safe bet to come in and get us three to four fantasy points.

Eddie Rosario, Twins ($2,600): Rosario is turning into a pretty nice FanDuel option as he is warming up lately. Over the last month he is batting .287 with two home runs, five RBI and two stolen bases. He is not necessarily going to be the reason that you win your league on the 10th, but at this price you should be able to manage your way into some money.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
