2015 Big Ten/ACC Challenge tip times, TV schedule announced

The Big Ten/ACC Challenge will once again take place this season, and some more information was announced on Tuesday

While a lot of the focus right now is on the beginning of the college football season shortly, before we know it, the college basketball season will be here as well. Of course, at the beginning of the college basketball season, everyone looks forward to two of the premier conferences in the game meeting up in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

We’ve already learned the match ups for this year’s event, but on Tuesday we we treated to what channels and what times these games will be taking place.

That being said, here’s a look at the 2015 Big Ten/ACC Challenge schedule.

Mon, Nov 30
(All times Eastern)

7 p.m. – Wake Forest at Rutgers (ESPNU)
9 p.m. – Clemson at Minnesota (ESPN2)

Tue, Dec 1

7 p.m. – Michigan at NC State (ESPN2)
7 p.m. – Northwestern at Virginia Tech (ESPNU)
7:30 p.m. – Virginia at Ohio State (ESPN)
9 p.m. – Miami (Fla.) at Nebraska (ESPNU)
9 p.m. – Purdue at Pittsburgh (ESPN2)
9:30 p.m. – Maryland at North Carolina (ESPN)

Wed, Dec 2

7:15 p.m. – Louisville at Michigan State (ESPN)
7:15 p.m. – Wisconsin at Syracuse (ESPN2)
7:15 p.m. – Penn State at Boston College (ESPNU)
9:15 p.m. – Indiana at Duke (ESPN)
9:15 p.m. – Notre Dame at Illinois (ESPN2)
9:15 p.m. – Florida State at Iowa (ESPNU)

Another full slate of what should be some amazing games on the ESPN family of networks.

It pretty much goes without saying, though, that all eyes will be on that Dec. 1 game that pits Maryland going against North Carolina. Coming into this season, the hype around the Terrapins is pretty high, so that North Carolina team will be one of their early tough tests. Plus, it rekindles the small feud we saw at times when the two were in the ACC with one another.
