FanDuel Picks For August 12
Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.
NOTE: these FanDuel picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.
Here are my FanDuel picks for August 12:

Pitcher Options:
Well Clayton Kershaw finally had a bad performance at least by his standards and his price tag. So does that mean that he is not worth using? He is facing off against the Washington Nationals and they have a pretty good record and are a pretty decent hitting team. However, Bryce Harper was scratched from the lineup today and that should actually make them a pretty good match-up for Kershaw. I have been a big proponent of using Kershaw while he has been hot and I still like him, but now my feelings are a bit mixed. He is obviously more risky than he was a few starts ago, but I would think that chances are Kershaw will be dropping over 20 fantasy points on the 12th.
Aaron Brooks, Royals ($6,500): As you have probably realized by now, I like to give you a safe pick for pitchers and then a risky pick. This is obviously the risky pick as this will only be his third start of the season. However in his first two starts he has scored 15.33 and 13 points. This will be a much tougher outing as he faces off with the Blue Jays who are pretty hot and winners of 9 of their last 10. The chances that he will get blown up and even have negative points are there for this game and so that is why I list him as my risky pick.
Next: FanDuel Infield Hitter Opions
Aug 8, 2015; Milwaukee, WI, USA; St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Matt Carpenter (13) is greeted by second baseman Kolten Wong (16) after hitting a leadoff home run in the first inning against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. Mandatory Credit: Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports
Infield Hitter Options:
Matt Carpenter, Cardinals ($3,900): Carpenter has really been on fire as of late. he has hit seven home runs in his last 13 games. Carpenter is always a fairly safe bet in a daily fantasy league, but I really like him for the 12th. He has faced off with Gerrit Cole 13 times having recorded 4 hits with two of those going for home runs and four RBI. Add it all up and even with this price tag Carpenter is a very safe option.
Prince Fielder, Rangers ($3,900): Fielder has not been near as hot as Carpenter lately, but he still has a fantastic record against Mike Pelfrey. He has gone 10/28 with three home runs and 14 RBI for an average of .357. With both of these infielders we have some nice upside for power and RBI.
Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options
Jul 26, 2015; Phoenix, AZ, USA; Arizona Diamondbacks mascot D. Baxter harasses Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Khris Davis (18) prior to the game at Chase Field. Mandatory Credit: Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports
Outfield Hitter Options:
Nick Markakis, Braves ($3,100): Markakis has been playing pretty well and he falls nicely into my prerequisite of having a nice BVP stat. He is facing off with Jake Odorizzi with a 6/14 mark including a home run and two RBI. He should be a safe bet at a nice price for at least a hit or two.
Khris Davis, Brewers ($3,100): Again we have a player that fits the bill for us. I am expecting a pretty solid game for Davis as he has shown well against Cubs pitcher Jason Hammel. He only has 12 at-bats against him, but he holds a .333 average with a home run, three RBI and a stolen base.
As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
