Jared Lorenzen is back offering his services up to a team in need, this time the New York Jets after what they went through on Tuesday

The New York Jets are in a bit of a bind. You see, on Tuesday, in case you didn’t hear, starting quarterback Geno Smith is going to be out for quite a while. Tuesday morning, Smith was blasted in the face by teammate IK Enemkpali, breaking his jaw in two places. Because of this little incident, Smith will undergo surgery and he’s expected to be out anywhere from 6-10 weeks.

So, with that being said, the Jets are down a quarterback on the roster. They’re going to need to fill that slot, and they’ve already made a phone call to Rex Grossman, reportedly. However, there may only be one man for the job here, and he wants to help the Jets out.

OK, he’s actually not the man for the job, but Jared Lorenzen being on an NFL roster again sure would be neat, wouldn’t it?

Hey, he brings up some valid points. He does kill it in that green, and having been on the New York Giants’ roster before, he sort of understands what it takes to be a quarterback in the Big Apple.

Alright, this is just an absurd idea altogether, but it’s funny nonetheless.
