Super Bowl 50 is expected to be a huge event coming up next year, and that could mean Media Day could be making a move
The NFL season is fast approaching here in 2015, and by the time all is said and done, we’re going to have a pretty special Super Bowl winner. The Super Bowl winner this year will be special because coming up next February we will have Super Bowl 50 out in Santa Clara, California. Everything about the biggest event in football this year will be magnified a little more, and that includes Media Day.
Although, could Media Day actually be turning into Media Night this year?
Generally Media Day is held every year on the Tuesday before the big game takes place. However, according to FOX’s Mike Garafolo, there have been some talks about actually holding the event for Super Bowl 50 next February in the evening to make for some primetime viewing.
Interesting tidbit heard at owners' meeting: NFL is talking about making Super Bowl 50 Media Day a Media Night instead. Prime time TV.

Furthermore, Tom Pelissero from USA TODAY noted that it could also be moved to Monday night.
True. And sounds like it'd be Monday night, rather than Tuesday. Are you ready for some interviews?!? https://t.co/xkAa2MrVdV

Again, with Super Bowl 50 being treated the way it will be, this shouldn’t be all that surprising. Media Day is already a pretty big event to begin with, and that’s with it taking place on a Tuesday at a time when a lot of people are at work. Moving it to a primetime slot should end up drawing some pretty big ratings numbers.
