Geno Smith is going to miss the next 6-10 weeks weeks with a broken jaw, and head coach Todd Bowles is less than pleased about the sucker punch.

Next: Who Broke Geno Smith's Jaw?

Just when you think the New York Jets can’t get any more of a sh–t show, they go off an allow their franchise quarterback’s jaw to be broken by one of his teammates. That’s the situation at Jets camp on Tuesday as Geno Smith is going to miss the next 6-10 weeks after an altercation in the locker room led to him being sucker punched, subsequently breaking his jaw.

Head coach Todd Bowles, who inherited a mess of a franchise and is finding that out straight away, isn’t pleased with having to deal with this in his first training camp as a head coach in the NFL.

Bowles addressed the media after the altercation, and mentioned that it’s not something that can be allowed in any locker room.

This isn not what Todd Bowles envisioned when he dreamt of being an NFL head coach. Then again, what did he expect when he took the job running the Jets? You never thought you’d miss Rex Ryan in New York, but this is the taste of nostalgia Jets fans didn’t know they wanted.
