Chicago Bulls 2015-16 NBA Schedule
By Josh Hill
The NBA season is right around the corner, and the Chicago Bulls know who they have to prepare for on their 2015-16 schedule.
After a season in which the Chicago Bulls made a run at the NBA Finals, falling short in the Conference Semifinals, the team experienced massive change in the offseason. Head coach Tom THibodeau was fired, despite being brilliant for the job, and replaced by a sock puppet for the front office in
Aaron Eckhart
Fred Hoiberg.
It’s above that has thrown fans for a loop, but this is still a team that can make a serious title run in the East if everyone can stay healthy. That has been the problem in the past though, as Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and others have battled injuries that have either ended their seasons early or worn them out before the season was over.
That was the case last season, where Rose came back fiery as ever in the postseason but was surrounded by a beaten down team that was tired and exhausted.
There are bright spots to be had though, as Jimmy Butler is a rising star and could form a dynamic duo with Rose if the two can decide to get along. There’s also young players like Tony Snell and Doug McDermott to watch this year to see if they can flourish under the leadership of Hoiberg.
Chicago won’t have an easy road to the NBA Finals, as LeBron James and the Cavaliers stand in their way as well as teams on the rise like the Wizards, Raptors and Heat — among others.
