Top five left-handed NFL quarterbacks of all-time
5. Michael Vick
Vick has not lived up to the hype that he enjoyed coming out of Virginia Tech in 2001. Vick was taken by the Atlanta Falcons with the first-overall pick and immediately became one of the most electrifying players in NFL history. Vick became the first quarterback to rush for more than 1,000 yards, doing so in 2006. Vick also led Atlanta to the 2003 NFC Championship game, falling to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Despite not being one of the most accurate quarterbacks in history (Vick has a completion percentage of just 56.1 percent) he does have one of the strongest. Vick has been known to throw the ball 70 yards in the air, stretching the field with relative ease. While he has struggled at times, Vick has made the Pro Bowl four times and was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2010.
Vick saw his life and career derailed when he served time in prison for dogfighting, wiping out his 2007 and 2008 seasons. However, Vick was given a second chance with the Eagles and played well for a spell, including 2010 when he threw for 21 touchdowns against six interceptions. Vick spent five years in Philadelphia from 2009-13 before joining the New York Jets in 2014. Vick is currently a free agent, and has 22,093 passing yards with 131 touchdowns in his career.
