Washington Wizards. 21. player. 142. <p>Some teams tug on our nostalgia with neo-retro jerseys that harken back to days gone by in the franchise’s history, but then there’s the Washington Wizards and their dope new uniforms.</p> <p>The Wizards cartoonish duds from the 2000s are forgettable, and don’t have the nostalgic appeal that the Pistons or Sixers have working for them. But when Washington decided to splash in their Washington Bullets history with the new John Wall era, the result was some of the coolest uniforms to hit the NBA in a while.</p> <p>They’re subtle and minimalist like the Bucks’ new uniforms, but they add just enough flash and flare to spice things up without going over the top. They also tie in the Washington Bullets and channel an older era in a new way that is refreshing. Where teams like the 76ers have just basically gone back to what the team wore so many years before, the Wizards are incorporating the new team name with the old brand of the franchise and it all works so well.</p> <p>It’s really hard to hate these uniforms, especially now that the team is finally getting good.   </p>
