Floyd Mayweather and Ronda Rousey are locked into a feud that Money wants to pretend he’s not a part of.

The boxing career of Floyd Mayweather will go down as one of the best ever, but like many greats of his sport it’s his life outside of the ring that is tainting the one in it. The long list of violent offenses that Mayweather has been accused of or found guilty of one way or another outside of the boxing ring has soured his reputation and made him a villain despite his perfect record.

It’s almost tragic, as Mayweather is the champion of the world, yet no one wants anything to do with him — and it’s all his own fault. He may be undefeated inside of the ring, but outside of it Mayweather had taken loss after loss, the latest of which coming from Ronda Rousey.

Rousey best Mayweather at the ESPYs this year for Fighter of the Year, and she immediately quipped that it’s the first time a woman had beaten Mayweather instead of the other way around.

In a recent interview, Floyd Mayweather tried to pretend he doesn’t know who Ronda Rousey is after she publicly dissed him once again over his abusive attitude towards women.

Just like how the ESPYs loss, this isn’t the first time Mayweather has run away from an opponent in an effort to chalk up a win.

Rousey is the champion that Mayweather wants to be, but never will. She’s an upstanding member of society, a role model and a clean champion who earns her victories in the amount of time it takes Mayweather to dance from one corner of the ring to the other.

Pretending like she doesn’t exist is the worst thing that Mayweather could have done. This is like when you pretend you don’t care someone said something about you so you bury your head in the sand and press past it. This feud isn’t going anywhere and the it’s one fight Mayweather won’t be able to run away from to win.
