Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston found Vincent Jackson for a huge 40-yard pass in his first real live NFL action.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Jameis Winston with the first overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft, and see him as the future of the franchise. Fans have waited to see him perform in some real live NFL action and got a look at it in their first preseason game on Saturday night.
Winston delivered with a highlight pass in the first quarter. Facing a third-and-14 situation, Winston dropped back and launched a deep ball to Vincent Jackson who got behind the defense.
It looks like Winston stumbled as he caught the pass, stumbling to his feet. It is possible that the ball was just a tad too far ahead of him. Had he caught it in stride or been able to stay on his feet, Jackson would’ve been off to the races and it would’ve been a considerably bigger play than it was.

Either way, that has to have Buccaneers fans feeling good about Winston throwing the deep ball this season.
