The Atlanta Dream pulled off a very impressive 90-77 victory over the Connecticut Sun today, and they did it in style. The Dream could make a highlight tape just out of plays from this afternoon’s affair. From fancy passing to deep three-pointers, to buzzer beaters, the Dream sure put on a show. Let’s take a look.

First there was Shoni Schimmel pulling up and cashing out from way behind the line. She’s looked a lot better in recent weeks, and finished tonight with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Oh, and Shoni wasn’t done, cutting through the lane for a nifty floater in the closing seconds of the third quarter.

Then there was this group effort on the fastbreak, with Matee Ajavon going behind-the-back to elude the defense and then dropping off a nifty pass.

But like Shoni, Matee wasn’t content with just one nice play. She also provided this beautiful no-look dime, one of her 7 assists on the day.

Still there was more though, as Tiffany Hayes knocked down a three from the corner to beat the buzzer at the end of the first half.

This was quite the performance from Atlanta, and there going to need to play like this most every night from here on out if they want to make a miracle run at the playoffs.
