Eagles LB Bryan Braman strips, suplexes Colts QB (Video)
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Bryan Braman had a nice game, highlighted by a German Suplex to the Colts’ quarterback
The Philadelphia Eagles’ first preseason game was largely about quarterback play, largely centering around a return to the NFL for the polarizing Tim Tebow. However, the highlight of the day may have come from what the Eagles defense did to Indianapolis Colts quarterback Bryan Bennett.
Bennett had a rough go of things as the third-string snap-taker, completing just four of his 16 pass attempts and getting picked off twice. However, the worst part of his day came when linebacker Bryan Braman shredded through the Colts line and forced Bennett to fumble. That wasn’t enough, as Braman then proceeded to show off his professional wrestling savvy on Bennett:
The fact that Bennett gets up to try and make the tackle after that is pretty remarkable. The majority of people would’ve have probably retired on the spot after fumbling and then receiving a German Suplex.
Braman had a nice day outside of his WWE audition tape as well, getting pressure on the Colts quarterbacks on almost every play where he was bringing the heat. As he was on the Eagles roster last season and played in all 16 games, Braman will probably be playing in the NFL again this season. With that ponytail and his apparent wrestling ability, he should give Vince McMahon a call whenever he’s ready to leave the gridiron.
