NFL 2015: Ranking the 32 offenses
20. Washington Redskins
The Washington Redskins are going to be potent on offense, but the team will struggle to win games. The defense will be giving up plenty of points, forcing Robert Griffin III to throw the ball plenty. In that vein, expect solid statistics from Griffin for the first time since winning the NFC East in his rookie year of 2012. Still, the interceptions will persist while yardage and touchdowns climb.
The Redskins are not without talent on offense, even with the season-ending ankle injury of Niles Paul. Washington has a pair of very good receivers in Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson, while enjoying one of the most underrated running backs in football with Alfred Morris. Morris holds the franchise’s all-time single-season rushing record and has three 1,000-yard campaigns in as many tries.
Griffin has nowhere to go but up, and he has the weapons around him to make some moves. The offensive line should also be better with Trent Williams at left tackle and rookie right tackle Brandon Scherff, who was taken with the fifth-overall pick.
