Here is a breakdown of the money that the top finishers at the PGA Championship will receive, including the huge payday for the winner.

The 2015 PGA Championship is wrapping up on Sunday and some big checks are going to be handed out, especially to those who finish in the top-five.

It looks like Jason Day will be getting the win and the $1.8 million dollar check, leading comfortably throughout the final round and into the 18th hole.

Jordan Spieth, who was on his heels in second, can’t be too upset with his second-place check, which also tops the million dollar mark.

Spieth is going to need that check because he owes his sister Ellie a shopping spree since he didn’t bring home a trophy.

“She only accepts me and I win. And if I don’t win, I better have something for her or take her shopping,” Spieth said, via the USA Today.

The drop off from second to third is stiff, but the rest of the top three are also collecting huge sums of money for their tournament performances. The way it played out with thrilling shots and low scores you could argue everyone deserves to make more.
