A look at the WWE Summerslam 2015 match card after the go-home RAW

WWE Summerslam 2015 looks every bit like it’s set to live up to the billing as WWE’s second biggest event of the year. Coming to Brooklyn alone for a big show is a big enough deal, but the stars that will be present and the atmosphere that’s being created only makes it seem even bigger.

There’s nothing bigger set to happen at Summerslam than the rematch between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker. This one is a year and a half in the making after Lesnar broke Taker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania 30. With the brawls these two have had on RAW, this could be an incredibly hot affair in Brooklyn.

Beyond that, John Cena will be going up against Seth Rollins with both men putting their titles on the line. While Cena being in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture is hardly surprising, this match is important as Cena is vying to tie Ric Flair’s record for the most world title reigns in WWE history.

Meanwhile, the rest of the heavy hitters on the WWE roster will also be in action, including Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Cesaro, and Money In The Bank Contract holder Cesaro. Actor Stephen Amell will also be in a match, competing alongside Neville in a tag match against Stardust and King Barrett.

Bigger than all of this regarding the show is the unprecedented coverage this event is going to get. WWE and ESPN have both confirmed that Sportscenter will be live from Summerslam for the first time ever with WWE alum and current ESPN broadcaster Jonathan Coachman leading the coverage for several hours on Sunday.

With all of this buzz surrounding Summerslam, the card has to be big and there are multiple candidates throughout the card that could steal the show. After the go-home episode of RAW on August 17, here’s how the card is shaping up:

The Rematch:
Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker

Title vs. Title Match:
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. United States Champion John Cena

Randy Orton vs. Sheamus

Divas Three-Way Tag Team Match:
Team Bella vs. Team PCB vs. Team B.A.D.

Kevin Owens vs. Stardust

Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match

Ryback (c) vs. Big Show vs. The Miz

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper vs. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose

WWE Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way
The Prime Time Players (c) vs. The New Day vs. Los Matadores vs. Lucha Dragons

Stephen Amell and Neville vs. Stardust and King Barrett

That’s the card with just six days remaining until the four-hour Summerslam show. How do you think the card stands up? Let us know in the comments.
