It’s a good time to be Anthony Davis. He’s on the fast track to possibly becoming the NBA’s most dominant player, and recently inked the most lucrative contract in league history with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Davis appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday night, where he revealed that he declined the opportunity to appear on the upcoming season of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. I’d say this is kind of a bummer, but the last thing we need is Anthony freaking Davis rupturing an Achilles while salsa dancing with Peta Murgatroyd. However, The Brow did tell us that he enjoys dancing, and, of course, Corden seized the opportunity to let Davis teach him a few of his moves (the dancing starts around the 1:40 mark, via CBS):

First of all, watching James Corden do this is hilarious and adorable. Him doing the driving thing (I sound really hip, I know) kinda reminds me of Kramer drivin’ the bus:

James Corden is the greatest. I was initially skeptical, but his show is pretty good! You should watch it.

Secondly, athletes have a pretty strong track record of success on Dancing With The Stars, and this video leads me to believe that Davis would’ve fared quite well had he chosen to participate. But let’s be glad he didn’t.
