There’s Script Ohio, and then there’s this 19-mile long Script Ohio.

In preparing for the upcoming season, a group of Ohio State fans put their heads together and decided to beast out a 19-mile-long Script Ohio. The feat was spelled out on a Map My Run-esque app and shows perfectly on a Google Map.

Really, isn’t this the way every map of Columbus should look all of the time? Like now whenever I see that part of the state without Script Ohio, it’s going to look hollow and lonely.

On Reddit, one of the group members discussed how it took over six hours – though there were a few pub stops along the way.

"My coworker friends and thought it would be cool to start off the football season by mapping and walking the Ohio Script this past weekend and using the stadium as the “I” dotting. Would anyone be interested in doing this with us next year? Maybe even as a fund raising event for a good cause.…LOL, we got like 8 miles into it and thought…. “you know this would have been better if we biked it” It took us 6 and a half hours of walking but we made a few bar stops so from 6:30am through 2:45pm. We were doing a work competition about fitness and the metrics used was time, so we walked everywhere and I think we just carried it over. I would rather bike it next time for sure."

I’m loving the charity idea. Call it “The Best Damn Fans in the Land Pub Crawl” (or make it a Critical Mass cycling trip), charge $25 bucks, hand out a t-shirt and donate proceeds to a local charity – wham, bam thank ya, ma’am you’ve got the hottest event in Columbus. Maybe push it back a week to coincide with classes starting. Seems like something that could have some serious legs.
