Devon Still recently posted a sweet picture of his daughter Leah on Instagram. Actually, it was a picture of a picture of Leah. It turns out the courageous young five-year-old has received one of the highest honors that can ever be bestowed upon an American: being featured on the cover of a box of Wheaties.
The Stills became a major story both in and out of the sports world last year, as Leah battled Stage 4 pediatric cancer. Her father, a defensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals, turned Leah’s fight into a national crusade for all families afflicted by the disease.
Late in July, Devon Still posted that Leah’s latest round of testing found the youngster to be in remission.

Father and daughter have since set up a crowd-funding account with the hopes of creating a charity – the Still Strong Foundation – that will offer financial assistance to families who need a little extra help paying for their children’s medical bills.
What began as a story shrouded with uncertainty now keeps getting better and better, and has become one of the most positive, uplifting narratives in sports.
