Just last week, LeBron James announced that every single kid who finishes his program will be going to college for free. And now this week, LeBron is hooking up a high school in Akron with new jerseys and helmets for their football team.
He already got his old high school, St. Vincent-St. Mary’s, new uniforms a few years ago, so now LeBron is moving on to helping other Akron schools prosper. Seriously, these jerseys are pretty sweet. No word on how they were able to finesse that Louisville logo, but the color scheme on these uniforms is fantastic.

It’s pretty darn cool that LeBron is so giving of his time and money. He loves his hometown, and he wants to try and make a difference there. Not for fame or recognition, but because he wants to make the world a better place, and where else to start but home? Keep doing good, LeBron. The world is a better place because of your work.
