LeBron James has no issue with Cam Newton honoring him whenever he runs one into the end zone

It’s not very uncommon for athletes these days to throw some shout outs to other athletes after they perform something great. Although, sometimes it might be an homage to someone that came before them, not necessarily another current athlete, and not really one that plays an entirely different sport.

As we’ve seen numerous times, Cam Newton will honor LeBron James by using his celebration whenever he scores a touchdown. On Saturday, the NFL Twitter account reminded us of this by showing Newton run one in against the Dolphins in 2013.

It might not seem like that big of a deal to some, but you might be wondering whether or not LeBron approves of Newton stealing his celebration a little.

Well, not long after this was tweeted out, we got our answer from the King himself.

Hey, if the best basketball player walking the earth has no issue with you taking his move, then you might as well just keep on using it.

Will it now only be a matter of time, though, until we see James pulling off the Superman celebration on the court? Seems only fair.
