Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tim Tebow rushed for 25 yards on a single play against the Baltimore Ravens.
Tim Tebow was off and running again Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens as he looks to continue to impress the Eagles in hopes of earning a roster spot.
After rushing for a touchdown in the team’s first preseason game, Tebow took off for another impressive run up the middle of the field against the Baltimore defense.
After feigning the hand off, Tebow had a wide open lane and busted up the middle for 25 yards.
In Chip Kelly’s offense, these are exactly the types of plays that Tebow needs to continue to make if he’s going to be a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. With the new regime of running quarterbacks in the league, and extra point rules that make a guy like Tebow valuable to teams, he could very well just find his way onto the roster.
It’s only two preseason games in, but Tebow just might find his way on the roster thanks to his feet and toughness. His passing game is what it is, but it’s clear that’s not why the Eagles have brought him on. A guy like Tebow can be utilized in multiple ways, and this is one of them.
Good running, Tim.
