Cris Carter might be in a bit of hot water now that video has surfaced of him giving the worst advice ever

Each and every year as rookies are getting ready to enter their NFL careers, they’re sat down by some veterans of the game that give them some pretty sound advice on how to be successful. You know, like saving your money, not getting tricked by a girl at the club, and having a fall guy for when you plan on doing something bad…wait, what?!? Well, apparently Cris Carter thinks that last one is important.

In a video that has surfaced recently, Carter is caught giving what might be the worst advice ever to rookies in the NFL last season. Basically, Carter’s “sound” advice to them was to always make sure that someone in there to take the rap for you, so you don’t end up in the headlines.

Oh boy, well, this is certainly a situation here, huh? Carter, who works for ESPN and has for the past few years, is definitely going to be in some hot water for this. At first, you hope that he’s joking when he starts off, but it turns out that he’s pretty serious. So serious, that it’s terrifying that he was able to talk to these rookies in the first place.

Not the brightest move in the world here.
