Did Jermichael Finley troll Aaron Rodgers after Jordy Nelson injury?
By Jack Crosby
After Jordy Nelson went down with an injury, former Packers tight end Jermichael Finley went to the troll game. Or did he?
Sunday afternoon Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers were dealt a serious blow in the first half against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the first half of their second preseason outing, star wide receiver Jordy Nelson went down with a knee injury, and the initial diagnosis is a torn ACL. Well, following this news, former Packers tight end Jermichael Finley may have let his emotions get the best of him.
Finley played with the Packers from 2008-2013, and as we all recall, he suffered a serious neck injury during that 2013 season and hasn’t played since.
Well, a short time after the news of Nelson’s injury came out, Finley had this to offer up that got everyone’s emotions in a tizzy.
With those clicks of a keyboard, people were MAD!
However, was that construed the wrong way? Were the intentions of Finley actually to be sarcastic and not to troll his former teammate?
Finley says so, apparently.
"Social media is over the top. R E L A X"
That’s one of the dangers of the internet, you never can really tell. Was he trolling Rodgers or was he baiting the fans on social media with sarcasm?
