After he was caught on video making some remarks that he certainly shouldn’t have, Cris Carter issued an apology on Monday night

Sunday we were treated to some video of ESPN analyst Cris Carter that had some people absolutely stunned. In that video, Carter, who speaks to NFL rookies before they enter the league, was advising them that they need to make sure they have the money for a “fall guy” in case they get in trouble. In actuality, it was pretty disturbing to watch.

With Carter working on the Monday Night Countdown show on ESPN, many wondered how the situation would be addressed, or even if Carter would be on the stage.

Well, he was on the stage with the crew in his normal spot, and he did offer up an apology for what was found on video.

So, as of right now it seems like that may be the only action ESPN takes in regards to Carter. He issued an apology on camera and they’re more than likely hoping the issue goes away.

It’s not likely, however, that the NFL will have Carter back anytime soon to talk to the rookies after what we saw in the video on Sunday. His rookie speaking engagement days are coming to a close for a bit.
