My selections are tailored toward DraftKings scoring system but these picks can also be helpful in H2H formats with daily rosters where some of my recommended players may be available to pick up off the Waiver Wire. Also, a majority of these selections would also be recommended for FanDuel, but you should first understand the differences between each baseball scoring system before plugging players in both.

Around the Foghorn
2B Elvis Andrus (TEX) home vs. TOR (Price) for $3,100: Although Andrus (.257, 47 RBI, 11 SB, 6.2 FPPG) is facing David Price, he owns a .435 lifetime mark (10 for 23) against him along with 7 SBs. Elvis has hit LHP very well this year (.287) and is currently on a 4 game hitting streak. Batting at home in Arlington (7th in Park Factor Runs with 1.05) and a $3,100 salary (the lowest it has been in DK for a long time), Andrus is a great sleeper pick that will have relatively low ownership.
1B Albert Pujols (LAA) at DET (Price) for $3,900: The Machine is having a monster year in the heart of the Angels order with 33 HR and 71 RBIs for 8.2 FPPG. He faces Justin Verlander (6 for 12 BVP in career) in a decent hitter’s park at Comerica. Anytime you can get this kind of power hitter under $4,000 you have to take him.

Outfielders
OF Jose Bautista (TOR) at TEX (Lewis) for $5,400: Bautista is having another fine year for Toronto with 85 R, 29 HR, 81 RBI, 5 SB, and .875 OPS, for 9.2 FPPG in 2015. He is especially hot lately going 7 for 13 with 3 HR and 5 RBI in his last three games. He owns a decent 4 for 12 mark with 2 HR mark vs. Colby Lewis (4.29 ERA). Although at a high salary, with plenty of protection around him in his lineup, Jose is a good play today and could easily get you 20+ FP.
OF Melky Cabrera (CWS) home vs. KC (Guthrie) for $3,400: Cabrera (.269 BA, 8 HR, 60 RBI, 6.7 FPPG) is having a good season. He faces Rick Porcello with an impressive 12 for 22 (.545) lifetime batting average against the Boston hurler who was also rocked (5 ER, 10 H in 2 IP) against the White Sox last time out on 7/29.
