The Pittsburgh Steelers have indeed gone out and signed Michael Vick to back up Ben Roethlisberger
Throughout the day on Tuesday we heard a lot of word that the Pittsburgh Steelers were looking to sign Michael Vick, especially with the recent injury Bruce Gradkowski suffered over the weekend in the preseason. Well, before the night ends, the Steelers have indeed gone out and signed Vick to the roster.

All things considered, this was probably a smart move by the Steelers. They’re getting an experienced veteran to sit behind Big Ben, which is always a plus. Not to mention, Vick has experience in the style of offense that’s run by the Steelers.
After five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, Vick spent last season with the New York Jets. He appeared in 10 games, throwing for just 604 yards and three touchdowns. He started just three of those outings.
With this signing taking place early in the week here, we should get a good look at what Vick brings to the table for the Steelers during their next preseason game this upcoming weekend. He’ll have time to get in there and get somewhat of a grasp on the playbook and get some snaps in.
As for the terms of the deal, it’s for one year and $1 million.
Steelers have announced signing of Mike Vick and put Bruce Gradkowski on IR. According to team source Vick's 1yr deal worth roughly $1M
