The Dallas Cowboys might be down one of their more important defensive players, as cornerback Orlando Scandrick was carted off the practice field on Tuesday with an apparent leg injury.
Initial reports on Scandrick are that he suffered a knee injury, although it seems as if it’s uncertain how exactly he did it.
Orlando Scandrick has hurt his right knee. Couldn't tell if he was hurt in collision or as planted.

With just a few weeks left until the regular season gets underway, no team wants to see something like this happen, especially to a veteran on the defensive side of the ball like Scandrick.
Last season for the Cowboys, Scandrick totaled 55 tackles and even tallied a sack. He notched two interceptions as well.
Scandrick is getting ready to enter his eighth season in the NFL, all with the Cowboys. He’s been one of their constants on that side of the ball, so losing him for a significant amount of time would be a pretty big blow.
As more becomes available about the injury to Scandrick, we’ll keep you updated.
