The 2015 NFL season has not yet gotten underway, but these five coaches will have to fight to preserve their jobs from the hot seat.

Regardless of situation, each NFL team enters the season with an expectation to win. Whether it is a a mere improvement from one year to the next or having an eye on the ultimate goal, a Super Bowl title, every franchise carries with it those goals and expectations.

However, not everything is grounded in reality, and as lofty as those goals and expectations may or may not be, they certainly become the burden of one man to deliver upon. Repeated success in delivering on those targets means security and longevity. Repeated failures or shortcomings put one’s rear end firmly in The Hot Seat.

Welcome to the life and times of an NFL coach.

Entering the 2015 season, there are definitely a few coaches who are already facing a win or go home situation. Some are in good situations and some are not, which makes it an uphill battle to avoid the chopping block at the end of the year.

These five coaches are under the gun in 2015 and must find a way to turn winning into a reality. If not, they may be bouncing from the hot seat to having no seat when the music stops and there are no jobs left.
