Marvin Lewis – Cincinnati Bengals

Lewis has won 192 games and three division championships over his 12 seasons at the helm of the Cincinnati Bengals. After years of futility, Lewis’ steady hand has helped reshaped the organization into a perennial contender in the AFC.

However, every single one of those wins has been during the regular season and Lewis’s Bengals are 0-6 in the postseason during his tenure. While getting to the playoffs is certainly an accomplishment of its own, there comes a time when a team must move forward and capture its potential.

Owner Mike Brown showed some faith in Marvin Lewis by giving him a one-year extension in April, a contract that will now carry him through the 2016 season and ensure he won’t be a lame duck this coming season. However, that doesn’t guarantee he’ll be secure if the Bengals fail to make the postseason or win a single playoff game this season.
