Mexico’s pitcher in LLWS International title game has all the swag (Video)
The Mexican pitcher in the Little League World Series International title game had the most swag on the mound
Armando Verdugo is a young man from Mexico who enjoys playing baseball. A pitcher by trade, he helped lead the Mexico team to the Little League World Series International championship game on Saturday against Japan. Verdugo is also the well versed in keeping it 100 on the mound.
During said International title game at the LLWS, Verdugo was absolutely dealing against Japan. That’s when the most swag-filled LLWS moment of all time went down, courtesy of the Mexico pitcher:
Verdugo has the head-bob going during his delivery, but then throws out an “okay” right before spitting and then hurling a strike. Someone get the umpires to check for a foreign substance on the ball, because Verdugo is just oozing swag.
The new poster boy of swag tossed a no-hitter through six innings, but Mexico’s bats didn’t give him any help as they eventually fell to Japan 1-0.
Verdugo and Mexico may not have gotten the victory that the wanted on the diamond in Williamsport on Saturday, but the young pitcher undoubtedly won the Internet. We should all strive to have that kind of swag in our everyday lives.
