Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr. just trucks Jets’ Darrelle Revis (Video)
By Jack Crosby
A rookie got the better of a veteran on Saturday night as Odell Beckham Jr. put Darrelle Revis right to the ground
After all that we saw from him last season as a rookie, we know that Odell Beckham Jr. is really fast and can catch footballs with just one hand. Those are the skills that we love to see him show off the most because, well, he’s just amazing. One thing we didn’t see too much of is Beckham getting physical, which might lead some to believe he might not have that in him.
Well, he happens to have that trait in him, and all you have to do for confirmation is ask Darrelle Revis.
The New York Giants are taking on the New York Jets Saturday night in both teams’ third preseason contest of the year, and after Beckham made a catch near the sidelines, he put Darrelle Revis right to the ground.
So, yeah, that was Darrelle Revis getting bullied by the second-year wide receiver out of LSU. Now, of course, you can make the argument that with Beckham nearing the sidelines, Revis lightened up his pursuit a little bit. Maybe he did, but it still doesn’t make the sequence any less funny.
