Seahawks’ Tyler Lockett scorches the Chargers for a 67-yard punt return TD (Video)

It really seems like the Seattle Seahawks might have gotten a steal with former Kansas State star Tyler Lockett
Back at the 2015 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks traded up to the 69th overall pick to select former Kansas State Wildcats star Tyler Lockett. It’s always a gamble when you trade up for a specific player, and in this case, it looks like the Seahawks might have hit the jackpot in that gamble.
We saw right from Week 1 of the preseason that Lockett could be a valuable contributor to this team, and Saturday night against the Chargers, Lockett was proving that potential future worth once again.
In the second quarter of the contest on Saturday night, Lockett went back on special teams again on a punt return and he made the Chargers pay. He made them pay to the tune of this 67-yard punt return.
He weaved his way through that Chargers coverage team like it was nothing. So, yeah, you can start to speculate just how much this young man will contribute to the two-time defending NFC Champions right off the bat this upcoming season.
In a league like the NFL where scores are a lot closer in the end, Lockett can come in more than handy.
