FanDuel Picks For September 1

More from DFS

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

NOTE: these FanDuel picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel picks for September 1:

  • Dee Gordon, Marlins ($3,800): Dee Gordon is a good option for us to open the month of September. Currently he is one of the hotter infielders in all of baseball and he boasts a solid career mark against Braves’ pitcher Shelby Miller. He has gone 7/19 against Miller with two stolen bases and a RBI.

Kyle Seager, Mariners ($3,700) Seager is playing pretty well right now and would be a pretty solid option for us even if he didn’t sport a solid career mark against Scott Feldman. He does however have a good mark against Feldman having gone 5/12 with an RBI and three stolen bases.

    Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options

Aug 21, 2015; San Diego, CA, USA; San Diego Padres right fielder Matt Kemp (27) hits a two run home run during the eighth inning against the St. Louis Cardinals at Petco Park. Mandatory Credit: Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

    Outfield Hitter Options:

Jacoby Ellsbury, Yankees ($3,400): Ellsbury looks to be a very exciting option for the first day of September. He is on the upswing right not and he boasts a stellar mark against Rick Porcello. Over his career he has gone 11/17 with four home runs, four RBI and two stolen bases. I am getting him active in as many leagues as I can.

Matt Kemp, Padres ($4,000): Kemp has been making his presence felt nicely with the Padres. He looks like a solid option for the first of September as he has been pretty hot and he also boasts a good mark against Yovani Gallardo. Over his career against Gallardo he has gone 7/22 with a home run, three RBI and two stolen bases.

    Next: FanDuel Bonus Hitter Options

Aug 28, 2015; St. Petersburg, FL, USA; Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez (13) doubles during the second inning against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field. Mandatory Credit: Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

    Bonus Hitter Options:

    Catcher:

Salvador Perez, Royals (2,300): Perez is always a decent option behind the plate for daily fantasy league players. However, for the first of September he is especially intriguing. He boasts an 18/38 mark against Justin Verlander which equates to a .474 batting average. He also has two home runs and 13 RBI.

Robinson Cano, Mariners (3,600): Robinson Cano is another great option for the game on the first of September. HE is extremely hot right now and he also like everyone else I have mentioned here today has a fantastic career mark against Feldman.  Over his career he has gone 8/22 with two RBI for a .364 average. Get him active in your lineups.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
