Facing a third-and-long situation, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tim Tebow made a miraculous throw for a touchdown to Rasheed Bailey.
Tebow time just happened to the New York Jets.
Faced with a 3rd and 16, it looked like the Philadelphia Eagles were going to come up empty on the New York Jets’ side of the field. Then Tim Tebow, yes Tim Tebow, stood tall in the pocket with defenders closing in and threw a beautiful strike to Rasheed Bailey.
It was the Eagles’ first touchdown of the night and a play that probably sealed Tebow’s spot on the roster.

Tebow came into the last preseason game fighting Matt Barkley for the last quarterback spot on the Eagles roster. Everyone knows what he can do with his legs, but his knock on his career has always been his passing ability.
Strikes like that to Bailey are only going to help his cause as he makes his case for a spot on the roster. Tebow already has a good chance because of his versatility and the ability to run a read-option, but if he can show big pass play ability, the Eagles will have no chase but to keep him.
It’s always Tebow time somewhere, and tonight that place is in New York.
