Arrow: Stephen Amell gives fans a look at Season 4 (Video)

Arrow star Stephen Amell gives fans of the series a sneak peek at some of the action they can expect when Season 4 premieres on Oct. 7.

It seems like forever since Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak decided to leave their lives behind in Starling City and drive off into the sunset. Unfortunately, just because the Arrow has “died,” doesn’t mean that there isn’t still a plethora of bad guys just waiting to sink their teeth into the unsuspecting citizens of Starling City.

Thankfully, it seems as if Oliver Queen hasn’t hung up his bow for good. In the new season of the popular CW Network series Arrow, we will watch as Oliver’s friends he left behind attempt to pick up their pieces left behind when Oliver and Felicity walked away. The bad news is, with new villains making their way into Starling City, people like Thea, Diggle, and Laurel are going to need all the help they can get.

This is where Oliver comes in.

As the premiere of the new season approaches, Arrow fans are searching far and wide for any hidden details they can find regarding what the new season has in store for them come October. Being the consummate hero he is, the Green Arrow himself, Stephen Amell, has come to our rescue.

Amell just posted a video to his Facebook page that gives fans a sneak peek at some of the action they can expect when Season 4 premieres on Oct. 7 on the CW. Needless to say, there is plenty of action to go around; especially once Oliver gets back on the scene.

In the two-minute preview for the new season, we get a look at one of the villains who will most certainly be a thorn in the side of young Oliver Queen for quite some time. As some of you will remember, R’as al Ghul mentions a former member of the League of Assassins who broke out on his own after being denied leadership of the league. Well, ladies and gentlemen…meet Damien Darhk. Damien Darhk will be played in Season 4 of Arrow by Suits and Justified actor Neal McDonough.

And wait…was that John Constantine? Yes, ladies and gentlemen…your favorite Hellblazer will be appearing in at least one episode of the new season of Arrow. As you can clearly see, the role of John Constantine will be played by none other than Matt Ryan, the man who brought the character to life in the short-lived (yet incredibly good) series Constantine.

Furthermore, we agree with Felicity’s new friend Curtis Holt…when did Felicity become such a bad ass?

There is certainly a lot to look forward to in Season 4. We will be better acquainted with some familiar faces like Slade Wilson and Malcolm Merlyn, while a number of new faces like Damien Darhk and will be joining the mix as well. Thankfully, it won’t be long before Oliver Queen returns and a new hero emerges from the ashes, the Green Arrow.

Arrow Season 4 premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 8:00 p.m. on The CW Network.
