Jordan Spieth is not impressed with the way the Texas Longhorns offense is playing against Notre Dame, and is even comparing it to his recent golf play.
The Texas Longhorns have struggled on offense against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday. They have struggled so much that they haven’t even put a single point on the board. For those hoping the Longhorns would take that next step in returning to dominance this season, they are a little unimpressed thus far.
One person notably unimpressed? Jordan Spieth.
Watching his home team Longhorns continue to falter, the Texas native –and former Longhorn himself– sent out a tweet voicing his displeasure with the way that Texas was playing and compared it to his recent string of struggles on the golf course.
Texas' offense looking about as useful as my last 4 rounds....
— Jordan Spieth (@JordanSpieth) September 6, 2015
Spieth has missed the last two cuts in the tournaments that he has played, and as a result fell out of his No. 1 world ranking. With his recent failures at the last two tournaments, it’s easy to see where Spieth can relate himself to the Longhorns offense.
The good news for Spieth is that he’s still a top golfer, whereas it’s going to take Texas some time before they’re a top program again.
If Spieth comparing Texas to his recent golf game wasn’t enough, Lance Zierlien assured him his golf game wasn’t Texas bad, but rather Tiger Woods bad.
With all due respect @JordanSpieth , the Longhorns offense looks way worse than your last four rounds. Tiger territory at this point.

So to recap: Texas is bad. Tiger Woods is bad and Jordan Spieth is struggling. Luckily for Spieth, one of those things is not like the other.
