After a strong outing in the final preseason game for the Philadelphia Eagles, it looked like journeyman quarterback Tim Tebow fighting for his career would make an NFL roster for the 2015 season.
Tebow completed 11 of 17 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns against the New York Jets on Thursday.
According to a report from Howard Eskin, he was getting indications that the Eagles intended to cut Tebow on Saturday ahead of the final roster cut to get down to 53 men on Saturday afternoon.

Later Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport verified the report.
It looked like Tebow wasn’t going to make the team from the jump, so the fact that he even got to the point where he looked like he might make the roster was pretty impressive.
After the Eagles traded Matt Barkley to the Arizona Cardinals it looked like a lock that Tebow would make the roster.
