FanDuel Picks For September 9

More from DFS

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

NOTE: these FanDuel picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel Picks for September 9:

Aug 30, 2015; Pittsburgh, PA, USA; Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado (28) celebrates with teammates in the dugout after scoring a run against the Pittsburgh Pirates during the fourth inning at PNC Park. Mandatory Credit: Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Infield Hitter Options:

Nolan Arenado, Rockies ($3,900): Arenado has been pretty hot lately and is having  a solid season. He also comes in as a pretty good option for the game on the 9th. Unfortunately he is on the road, but he has a great record against James Shields at 8/14 with three home runs and five RBI.

DJ LeMahieu, Rockies ($3,000): LeMahieu is another player who has been pretty hot and is also facing off with Shields who has not really been at his best. He also has a pretty solid career mark against Shields at 4/12 with an RBI.

Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options

Sep 7, 2015; Kansas City, MO, USA; Kansas City Royals center fielder Lorenzo Cain (6) hits a single against the Minnesota Twins in the first inning at Kauffman Stadium. Mandatory Credit: John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

Outfield Hitter Options:

Lorenzo Cain, Royals ($4,100): Cain is a fairly pricey options, but he is worth every penny. He stands a really good shot at returning the value of this investment and should be in for  a great day. He squares off with Mike Pelfrey with whom he owns a .500 mark with four RBI and a stolen base.

Jacoby Ellsbury, Yankees ($2,900): Ellsbury has not had a typical season for him as he only has 17 stolen bases and has just not been himself. However if there was ever a day that he will be worthy for a daily fantasy lineup it should be the 9th against Ubaldo  Jimenez, who he owns a 7/11 record against with a home run and five stolen bases.

  • Brian McCann, Yankees ($4,500): McCann has had a pretty typical type of season where he is producing pretty good numbers and hitting home runs. He also owns a solid mark against Jimenez at 10/37 with a home run, three RBI and a stolen base.

Brandon Phillips, Reds ($3,500): Phillips has been pretty hot lately with four of his last five games being multi-hit games. He also hit a home run on the 6th. He has a .500 batting average against J.A. Happ with three home runs, seven RBI and a stolen base. He should be an excellent option for the 9th.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
